Wester Ross Salmon, Kansas Filet Mignon – Specials Sept 7-8

We had one table open back up for the Silver Oak Wine Dinner next Wednesday. We had been sold out for some time, so this is a great opportunity to sample some incredible and rare wines paired to a great meal.

I’m pretty excited about this weekend’s specials, we have some wonderful Wester Ross salmon from Scotland, and a beautiful Filet Mignon from Kansas. Rachel’s Peach polenta cake is one of my favorite desserts!

Special Entrees – Friday and Saturday
Soup – Fire-Roasted Red Pepper
Special – Ultra-fresh Wester Ross Salmon from Scotland, grilled with an organic red pepper preserve glaze (from Grandma Hoerners), served on a bed of roasted sweet corn and cheddar polenta with grilled asparagus.

Special – Kansas-raised Angus Filet Mignon grilled and finished with porcini-cream-Marsala sauce and toasted farfalle pasta, served on a bed of Gorgonzola mashed red potatoes and grilled asparagus.

Amuse – balsamic roasted cremini mushroom
Starter – Fire-roasted red pepper gazpacho with rosemary grilled diver scallop
Entrees – Wester Ross Salmon, Grilled Filet Mignon
Dessert – Colorado Peach upside down polenta cake with homeade buttermilk ice cream
