Well, it’s not really getting any cooler out there is it?! I crafted some really delicious specials this week, perfect for the warm weather and the fresh foods of this hot season!
We have have tasty oysters coming in from the Southern Puget Sound in Washington. Eagle Point oysters showcase this region, they are salty and sweet, with a full flavor. I haven’t brought these in before, so it’s something new to Manhattan.
Figuring out a soup for the middle of summer isn’t easy. How about a slam dunk of flavors in a potato-corn chowder with housemade, honey-cured smoked salmon?
Locally-raised lamb slider appetizer with Maytag dressing, King Salmon with roasted red pepper risotto, and KC Strip steaks with grilled with chipotle-raspberry glaze round out the specials for this week. How can you pass all that up?

If you can’t make it in over the weekend, perhaps you can grab dinner on Tuesday with a HALF PRICE bottle of wine, or a few cocktails from our Classic menu, $2 off on Wednesday!
We also have a new lamb dish on the menu. All of our lamb is now naturally and locally-raised, at Shannon Creek Farms in Olsburg. We are now offering a lamb kebab grilled with fresh vegetables, served on a bed of summer couscous. Yum!

Soup – Potato-corn chowder with honey-smoked salmon
Special – Ultra-fresh, wild-caught, Alaskan King Salmon, grilled with a mango-peppercorn glaze, served on a bed of roasted red pepper risotto, with grilled asparagus

Specials – Saturday, July 23
Soup – French Onion with authentic Gruyere
Special – Locally-raised, dry-aged KC Strip Steak grilled with a chipotle-raspberry glaze, served on a bed of roasted garlic smashed red potatoes, with grilled local corn on the cob finished with cilantro-lime butter.
wine pairing – Thorn Clarke Shotfire Shiraz

This Weekend’s Prix Fixe Menu
Amuse – herb and spice deviled quails eggs
Starter – Locally-raised lamb sliders, with maytag dressing, shiraz glaze, grilled sweet onions, and barbecued chickpeas
Entrees – Mango-glazed King Salmon, Chipotle-Raspberry KC Strip Steaks
Dessert – Lemon Semifreddo – frozen lemon custard topped with fresh blackberry compote

Featured Cocktail – Caipirinha
classic drink from brazil, introduced in the 1930s. leblon cachaca, the world’s finest, muddled with raw sugar and fresh limes over ice.
