Specials for weekend of October 18-19

After announcing that we were moving downtown, and Rachel is opening her our bake shop, we had literally hundred of e-mails congratulating us. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who passed along their kind words and best wishes!

I was especially hungry when I wrote the specials for this weekend, so you are sure to not only enjoy the specials, but also the quantity. I know you won’t want to miss these!

Special Entrees – Friday and Saturday
Soup – avocado-buttermilk gazpacho
Special – Alaskan King Crab legs grilled with a pomegranate-orange glaze, served on a bed of sautéed green beans, and corn grilled with roasted garlic butter.
wine pairing – San Gregorio Greco di Tufo White

Special – Kansas-raised Black Angus KC Strip steaks, grilled with Marsala glaze, served on a bed of tomato- wild mushroom- bacon-red potato hash, with grilled asparagus.

This Weekend’s Prix Fixe Menu
Amuse – smoked trout mousse on cucumber
Starter – seared bay scallops from Georges Bank, penne pasta with roasted fennel cream sauce and sautéed peppers, red onions, and fresh herbs
Entrees – grilled king crab legs, grilled kc strip steak
Dessert – dulce de leche cheesecake
