Specials for weekend of May 30 & 31

I love this time of year, the weather is perfect for dining out, and the food options are just about the best of the entire year. I have some beautiful Walu coming from Hawaii (one of my favorite fish). This inspired me to pair it up with a Hawaiian inspired filet mignon. We also have some of the finest oysters in the world right now, and I made a special appetizer just for them.

Rachel’s dessert is worthy of coming in for by itself! Rachel’s delicious desserts are the wonderful reason that I am so fat!

Lots of new wines on the list this week, some wonderful Sonoma Coast and Oregon Pinot Noirs, a few new wines from South Africa, and a few new Cabernets from all over the world.

We are working up some cocktail specials to celebrate Negroni week next week, so keep and eye open for that e-mail.
