Specials for weekend of May 2 & 3

Time to make mom happy and book a reservation for Mother’s Day Brunch or Dinner next week. We normally fill up pretty quickly, and things are even busier now that we are downtown, so please don’t wait to call us.

Morels are finally around! I am offering some first of the season Morel Tempura and Morels on filet mignon as a special appetizer and special this weekend. The salmon special is also very tempting.

I don’t have a menu yet, but I am betting you will not want to miss out on a Louis Jadot Burgundy wine dinner in June!

Special Entrees – Friday and Saturday
Soup – Lobster Bisque
Special – Wester Ross salmon from Scotland, grilled with a fire-roasted red pepper glaze. Served on a bed of wild rice, corn, and red pepper risotto with grilled asparagus and spring onions
wine pairing – J Estate Chardonnay Russian Rver

Special – Kansas filet mignon grilled and finished with sautéed wild morel mushrooms, on a bed of sautéed green beans and buttermilk potato pancake.

This Weekend’s Prix Fixe Menu
Amuse – smoked trout mousse on crostini
Starter – fresh, wild morel mushrooms fried tempura and served with sage aioli
Entrees – grilled salmon and grilled filet mignon
Dessert – Apple and Almond tart with cinnamon whipped cream
