Specials for weekend of August 2-3

We have some excellent specials this weekend. I am featuring fresh Florida Snapper and locally-raised Duroc Pork. My inspiration was to have a crossover between traditional Italian and contemporary American. So you should see some great sounding items with a little twist to them (like a bacon-cheddar risotto).

Only a few seats remain open for the Grgich Hills Wine Dinner. This dinner will be in celebration of Mike Grgich’s 90th birthday.

Special Entrees – Friday and Saturday
Soup – Cucumber-Avocado Gazpacho
Special – Fresh, Florida Red Snapper grilled with cilantro pesto, served on a bed of roasted green chile polenta with grilled zucchini.
wine pairing – Feudi di San Gregorio Falanghina

Special – Locally-raised Duroc pork chops, from Craig and Amy Good’s Farm in Olsburg, brined in Kansas apple cider and grilled,served on a bed of bacon-cheddar risotto, with grilled asparagus
wine pairing – Fulcrum Gap’s Crown Vineyard Pinot Noir

This Weekend’s Prix Fixe Menu
Amuse – Tallegio cheese with coco almonds
Starter – Fresh Littleneck Clams and Linguine with fresh herbs
Entrees – Grilled Florida Snapper, Grilled Duroc Pork Chops
Dessert – Lemon Semifreddo with blackberry compote and semolina cookie
