Specials for weekend of April 25 & 26

With the weather finally staying warm enough, the construction on the outside of the building is finally being completed. We are open and very shortly the full block will be available again for parking. The bakery door is also slightly obstructed by construction equipment, and Rachel remains open as well (and you should definitely stop by for a cup cake!)

We have had the patio open a lot this week. With only four tables there, I would suggest that that you request the patio when making your reservations. It was cold a week ago, and it will likely be hot soon, so take advantage of the outdoor dining while you can.

I had one cancelation on the wine dinner, so there is one table that is available again. I don’t get to do Cakebread wine dinners too often, and after how difficult it was to get two of these wines, I would suggest not missing this one!

Special – colossal Baja prawns grilled with mojo sauce and finished with avocado-corn salsa and queso fresco, served on a bed of cilantro pesto basmati, grilled zucchini

Special – locally-raised on the Good’s farm, Duroc pork slow roasted with red chilies and aromatic vegetables, shredded and served on a bed of dirty rice with Mexican chorizo, tomatillos, and fresh corn, finished with grilled pepper, jicama and queso fresco, grilled zucchini.

Amuse – guava-mint agua fresca
Starter – ancho chile seared sea scallops on a bed of polenta with roasted green chiles and cheddar, finished with mango salsa
Entrees – grilled prawns and slow-roasted pork
Dessert – Dulce de Leche
