Sole with Morels, KC Strip with Pumpkin Sauce – Specials Sept 14-15

I created this weekend’s special with autumn on my mind. A fantastic kansas city strip steak finished with a pumpkin-cream sauce, and Georges Bank sole with a morel-cream sauce.

Special Entrees – Friday and Saturday
Soup – Tomato and Basil
Special – Ultra-fresh Georges Bank lemon sole filets with a lightly spiced crust, pan-seared and finished with a morel-cream sauce and asparagus on a bed of chive mashed Yukon Gold potatoes.
wine pairing – Crossbarn Chardonnay

Special – Kansas-raised Angus KC Strip steak grilled and finished with a pumpkin butter-cream sauce and sauteed apple chutney, served on a bed of mashed sweet potatoes with grilled zucchini.

This Weekend’s Prix Fixe Menu
Amuse – fire-roasted red pepper gazpacho
Starter – Basil pesto-cream sauce with pasta and cremini mushrooms
Entrees – Georges Bank Sole with morels, and KC Strip
Dessert – Maple-Walnut bread pudding
