Silver Oak Wine Cellars Wine Dinner
Wednesday, September 12 at 7pm

We are excited to announce that Michael Solway, of Silver Oak Cellars, will be hosting a wine dinner on September 12 at 7pm. We will pour both the Alexander Valley and the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons from Silver Oak. These rare wines are made even rarer because we are serving them from magnums. We we also serve wine from Twomey, the non-Cabernet Sauvignon winery of Silver Oak Cellars. The wines are just as fantastic and just as rare. The dinner will be limited to 28 guest, and will sell out quickly. I added some extra touches to this menu to keep pace with the quality of the wines. This dinner really is a special treat that you will not want to miss out on.

– Amuse –
spiced black cherry agua fresca

– First Course –
baby arugula salad with lemon citronette, grilled artichokes, fresh goat cheese
Silver Oak Twomey Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc

– Second Course –
roasted wild mushroom risotto with comte cheese, porcini foam
Silver Oak Twomey Anderson Valley Pinot Noir

– Entree –
pan-seared kansas angus filet mignon finished with pumpkin-butter sauce and fried sage leaves, served on a bed of fresh green beans sauteed with spanish chorizo sausage and spanish red peppers.

green dirt farms bossa, ripened sheeps milk cheese from missouri
roasted heirloom tomato confit, spiced almonds
Silver Oak Twomey Napa Valley Merlot

french apple tart – sweet pastry crust filled with almond cream
and caramelized heirloom apples
