TUESDAY – The Spanish Wine Dinner ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT INFANTS OF FT RILEY SOLDIERS! This will be a really nice dinner, please join us and help demonstrate just how much these fine soldiers and their families mean to Manhattan!
We have sold out for Mardi Gras the last few years, so please make your reservations soon. I will send out the menu in the next few days, but there are sure to be soft shell crabs, dirty rice, and I have a special request to make boudin blanc. The Sazerac cocktails will be flowing like the Mississippi River after a summer thunderstorm!
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting Domaine Serene for a wine dinner on April 13. Fans of fantastic Oregon single vineyard Pinot Noirs should call ASAP!
I have super-special, ultra-fresh Shutome Swordfish and white veal chops with Madeira wine glaze as the featured specials this weekend. We received some fantastic Rainier Oysters as well. By special request I have the roasted corn chowder as the featured soup, it’s perfect for this lovely spring weather we are having.
The special appetizer this weekend is to die for. The Snapper season just opened and I have some beautiful Uku (Hawaiian Blue Snapper) that is so good alone that I simply had to serve it as a crudo. Do not miss out on this, you are going to have to fly a few thousand miles to find anything fresher!
So I’m really starting to not like snow, and I am totally ready for some decent weather. The Sushi tonight will be worth the trip through this stuff!
