Sunday is Father’s Day. I put together a menu of what all dads really want… bacon. Please make certain your dad has an enjoyable Father’s Day by taking him out to dinner this weekend. Trust me, he would enjoy a filet mignon with a bacon-cheddar risotto or pan-seared Walleye with bacon-sauteed green beans more than the tie you were thinking of!

Soup – Tomato and Basil
Special – Ultra-fresh, Canadian Walleye pan-seared with an almond flour crust, and finished with brown butter-lemon sauce. Served on a bed of fresh green beans sauteed with bacon and shallots.
Suggested Wine – Patz and Hall Chardonnay

Specials – Saturday, June 19
Soup – French Onion with authentic Gruyere
Special – Kansas-raised, dry-aged Angus filet mignon grilled with a bourbon-peppercorn glaze, served on a bed of cheddar-bacon risotto with grilled asparagus.
Suggested wine – Cru by Vineyard 29 Cabernet Sauvignon
