Rosemary seared Scallops, Filet with Cremini mushrooms – Specials Nov 11-12

I wanted to congratulate the Wildcats on one of the most exciting games I have ever watched last week. Wow!

After a few weeks of tropical, we are back to more traditional European flavors. Not to say that they aren’t exciting as well, but it was pretty much impossible for me to think about anything tropical while I was writing these specials during the fifty hours of heavy rain earlier this week. Make certain to enjoy these satisfying dishes!

Soup – Tomato and Basil
Special – Ultra-fresh, diver-caught, Georges Bank Scallops pan-seared with rosemary and finished with a roasted tomato concasee, served on a bed of asiago-peppercorn-and herb risotto with grilled asparagus.

Special – Kansas Angus filet mignon, grilled and finished with baby cremini mushrooms in rich hunter’s sauce, served on a bed of Boursin-peppercorn cheese infused mashed Yukon Gold potatoes with grilled asparagus

Amuse – porcini mushroom mousse on foccia toast
Starter – locally raised lamb ribs with maple-cider glaze on cheddar polenta
