Red Snapper and Smoked Duck – Special Sept 24-25

We are definitely making some dishes that you likely haven’t seen before at 4 Olives. I had a friend challenge me to create dishes themed off of his favorite movie (also a famous book). If anyone can guess the novel, I will be really impressed. There are some really exciting dishes featuring fresh snapper and tea-smoked duck. I am making a very special appetizer featuring a ceviche made with Santa Barbara Sea Urchin!

As I guessed the Silver Oak dinner is almost totally sold out, so if you are still thinking about joining us, better make your reservations soon.

There is a new bar menu that is starting tonight. We added a new classic cocktail and changed up a bunch of the featured drinks. Be certain to check it out!

Soup – African Peanut Soup
Special – Ultra-fresh Florida Snapper grilled with violet flower glaze and finished with pine nuts and citronette sauce, served on a bed of pan-wilted baby arugula and grilled yellow squash.

Special – Earl Grey tea-smoked Long Island duckling breast finished with balsamic reduction and Sichuan peppercorns, served on a bed of mashed roasted butternut squash and grilled asparagus

Amuse – smoked trout mousse on cucumber
Starter – Sea Urchin Cheviche
Entrees – Florida Red Snapper or Tea-smoked Duck Breast
Dessert – Dark Chocolate flourless cake glazed with Belgian chocolate ganache, served with a scoop of homemade raspberry sorbet
