Miso Glazed Coho Salmon, Kansas Filet Mignon – Specials Oct 26-27

What a weekend we have coming up! A fantastic home football game, great fall weather, and mouth-watering specials!

I got ahold of some great wild-caught Coho salmon from the Columbia River, that we are finishing with the very yummy miso glaze that I developed a few years ago, a great and healthy stir fry to compliment that.

Plus, a very tasty Kansas-raised Angus filet mignon, grilled “All American” style with a spiced Bourbon glaze and roasted red potatoes with bacon and cheddar.

We have five new wines by the glass this week, and we are now featuring a seasonal beer called Hex from Magic Hat of Vermont. So there is plenty to try and enjoy!

Soup – African Peanut Soup
Special – Ultra-fresh, Columbia River Coho wild Salmon, grilled with a sweet miso glaze, served on a bed of stir fry with soba noodles, snow peas, carrots, spring onions, shallots, baby cabbage, and sesame glaze.

Special – Kansas-raised Angus filet mignon grilled with a winter-spiced Bourbon glaze, served on a bed of bacon-shallot-Cheddar-smashed red potatoes, with grilled asparagus

Amuse – curried pheasant salad on cucumber
Starter – Maryland Blue Crab Dip on grilled pita
Entrees – grilled Coho Salmon, grilled Filet Mignon
Dessert – Spiced Pumpkin Cake – spiced pumpkin cake filled with mascarpone mousse and finished with homemade caramel and spiced pecans
